Even though there are more than 15 types of ticks, these are the ones that are most commonly seen in our surrounding area. Identifying a tick is very important in order to determine which diseases it may have transmitted to your pet, diagnosis, and treatment.
If you find a tick on your pet promptly remove it with a Tick Twister, place it in a jar, and bring it to your vet for identification.
