At North Hill Animal Hospital, we utilize digital x-rays to help evaluate the health of our patients. We have the ability to take x-ray images of the body and we have specialized x-rays to evaluate the health of pet’s teeth.
How do you use x-ray at your clinic?
We use x-ray images to evaluate the internal organs of patients. The size of the heart, the health of the lungs, and also identifying objects that pets eat, can all be done with x-rays.
How do you prepare your dog for their x-ray appointment?
Most of the time, there is no special preparation needed for x-rays. Occasionally, withholding food from a pet or ensuring they have gone to the bathroom is important. Discussing this with one of our team members is the best way to see if any special requirements are needed.
How much do dog x-ray examinations cost?
